The City of Ames is considering a request to add "Social Service Provider" as a use allowed by Special Use Permit on properties in the Single Family Conservation Overlay District (O-SFC). The request was heard by the Planning and Zoning Commission at their meeting on September 4, 2024. City Council tabled the item at the October 8, 2024 meeting to consider it until a later date.
